What is a Heritage Quarter? 🤔

As you know, we hosted a public event in February sharing ideas and starting conversations at what a Forres "Heritage Quarter" could be...

We know some people didn't make it along, so keep an eye on our Facebook page for the opportunity for you to share your ideas and suggestions! 👀

What is Heritage Quarter?
A “Heritage Quarter” focusses on the HISTORICAL UNIQUENESS of an area.
This usually centres activity on a cluster of buildings and aims to develop a unique SENSE of PLACE.
It can attract visitors to the area, making it easy to recognise, to learn about and engage with our heritage.
Tools can include things like online promotion, trails, signs, easily accessible information for all ages and so much more!
