About
Leanchoil Hospital served the community of Forres and surrounding rural areas for more a hundred years. It played a n important part in many hundreds of peoples’ lives, from its role as a maternity hospital to providing palliative care to elderly people.
‘Our Leanchoil’ was a nine month project to bring together the human voices that encapsulate the history of the hospital. Volunteer collected memories, photographs and personal stories that together illuminate the history of Leanchoil Hospital and its special place in our local community.
